Since our pre-official launch in July 2007, SMiBiz range of products has blazed a trail of success in the Malaysian e-commerce sector. The website arm of Alternative Webmaster Sdn Bhd, an MSC Status Company through SMiBiz CMS is proving to many skeptics that e-commerce has a place in today’s business world and even in Malaysia, there are needs that can only best be met by the online world.
SMiBiz.com began life as the online store solely for the SMiBiz line of products developed by Alternative Webmaster Sdn Bhd.
Realizing that in the globally networked world business can be conducted 24 x 7, it made good sense to have a globally recognized website that could handle customer requirements and market demands for after sales services

New product for SME will be launched on June 2007. In conjunction with the company’s new product launch, Alternative Webmaster Sdn. Bhd (AWSB) is offering as minimum RM360 to RM960 a year to customer for SMiBiz CMS (Content Management System) subscription.
SMiBiz CMS is a structured system for website management and web content management. SMiBiz system provide each and every website a unique design of its own but in the same format and features. This system enable user to create, modify and update their website effortlessly by their own with or without any IT knowledge. Customers of SMiBiz CMS will never get involve in any complexity of HTML or FTP for editing and publishing as it works in a simple and clear-cut WYSIWYG (What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get) environment. SMiBiz CMS will also incorporate a ‘Business Directory System’ that serves deliciously like ‘Yellow Pages’ to give customer and normal net user a convenience to search for business companies located in Malaysia. As an added value and privilege to SMiBiz CMS customer, it will incorporate ‘E-Commerce’ soon into its system to give every SMI companies an opportunity to create an online shopping experience for their customers via our secured transaction system.

Alternative Webmaster Sdn Bhd (AWSB) was awarded the MSC Status on 18th January, 2007 by Multimedia Development Corporation (MDec).
What is MSC Malaysia Status?
MSC Malaysia-status is the recognition by the Malaysian Government through MDeC for companies that participate and undertake its ICT activities in the MSC Malaysia. MSC Malaysia-status companies enjoy a set of incentives and benefits from the Malaysian Government backed by the ten Bill of Guarantees.
Who should be in the MSC Malaysia?
MSC Malaysia-status is awarded to both local and foreign companies that develop or use multimedia technologies to produce or enhance their products and services and for process development. Applicant companies must meet the qualifying criteria and successful companies must observe the conditions attached to the MSC Malaysia-status recognition.
MSC Malaysia Status Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for MSC Malaysia-status, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a provider or heavy user of multimedia products and services.
- Employ a substantial number of knowledge workers.
- Provide technology transfer and/or contribute towards the development of the MSC Malaysia or support Malaysia’s k-economy initiatives.
- Establish a separate legal entity for the MSC Malaysia qualifying multimedia business and activities.
- Locate in a MSC Malaysia designated cybercities.
- Comply with environmental guidelines.
